Kiggly Crank Trigger Wheel High Friction Shims for 4G63 (3601)
Kiggly Racing 4G63 high friction diamond-infused shims can be used with the crankshaft damper and trigger wheel to increase grip of the joint. Purchase includes two shims to be installed on each side of the trigger wheel. Recommended for applications above 500 TQ or 9000 RPM. Each shim is 0.005" thick. Fits 4G63 6-bolt and 7-bolt DSM & Evo.
This newly available technology increases grip of the joint by a factor of 3-4 times vs bare metal surfaces. This joint can experience slip during high RPM usage, if high shock loads occur or when not enough crankshaft bolt clamp load is transmitted through the trigger wheel and damper. The loads the damper sees increase with both engine torque and RPM.
