The HKS 3SX system has a digital control valve to give you 3 stages of sound and performance in one exhaust.
Two valves in the front and two valves in the back are operated by an electric motor.
In the automatic mode, the valves are adjusted by RPM or speed. The graph shows decible levels vs RPM.
For low RPM (Stage 1), all the valves are closed for a quiet sound.
For mid RPM (Stage 2), the back valves are open for power and respectable sound.
For high RPM (Stage 3), all the valves are open for the most power. Also the manual mode let you open all the valves.
A special metal emblem comes with the 3SX system.
The bumper shields are made to resist exhaust soot.
