The AMS Alpha Performance R35 GTR Transmission Overflow Tank Kit solves a common issue when pulling high G’s. Your transmission fluid at the stock level will rush to the back of the pan allowing the pickup to suck in air causing the transmission to miss shifts and you to lose a race. Because of this, it is recommended to overfill your transmission fluid, which leads to issues when the fluid heats up to expand and spill onto the track. This is why an overflow tank becomes a necessary component for your GTR!

This condition will lead to a loss of clutch pressure causing your transmission to miss shifts. To prevent this we recommend overfilling the transmission fluid. We typically will fill them to the fill hole at the track. The Alpha R35 GTR Transmission Overflow Tank allows you to run more fluid without it escaping to the track surface. It hides away out of site behind the rear wheel well liner and includes all necessary hardware for an easy install.
